Panasonic DMP BD35 Features

One of the best compliments you can give the Panasonic DMP BD35 is how much it looks like a standard DVD player. Unlike most blu ray players that are large, heavy, cumbersome machines, the DMP BD35 is more of a normal size. Panasonic has knocked a whole centimetre off the height of the DMP BD35 (compared to the DMP BD30) and it's also 8cm shallower, making a much more sleek, compact and good-looking unit.

The DMP BD35 remote control is diminutive in design too, but still manages to offer all of the key features we've come to expect from blu ray remote control. Play, Stop, Fast-forward – all the standard buttons are here, all except a function to switch angles.

The DMP BD35 has excellent connectivity, including an Ethernet socket on the back for accessing online content and any future firmware updates. The DMP BD35 is Bonus View compatible that allows the decoding of secondary video streams.

DMP BD35 High Definition Picture Quality

The DMP BD35 features a built-in HDMI output combined with a brand-new version of Panasonic's proprietary picture processor. It's called the PHL Reference Chroma Processor Plus and has been designed to produce a clearer and sharper picture than its predecessor.

The Panasonic DMP BD35 blu ray player conveys first-class image quality, processing over 15 Billion pixels per second to give a picture experience which is highly detailed, shows smooth motion and reproduces realistic colours. The DMP BD35 can playback an assortment of different media formats including BD-ROM, BD-RE(Dual Layer), BD-R(Dual Layer), DVD, DVD-RAM, DVD-R(DL), DVD-RW, +R(DL), +RW, CD, CD-R/-RW, SD Memory Card.

The DMP-BD35 provides 1080/24p output (via HDMI), reproducing movie images from a blu ray disc in their original 24p form, with no need for conversion. This means that you can watch movies in the same format used in movie theatres on your own TV at home!

More DMP BD35 Features

The HD audio output is punchy and clear. The DMP BD30 comes with a removable front panel behind which is a digital media slot for SD Memory Cards. All you need to do is take the SD Memory Card from your digital still camera or HD camcorder, and you're ready to view high-resolution photos and motion images on your TV. When viewing digital photos using the Slideshow playback feature, you can play a music CD at the same time so viewers enjoy both beautiful images and your favourite music.

If you also have a Panasonic Viera TV, you can control the DMP BD35 using the Viera remote control unit.
